If you're giving up Sanchez, this is a no-brainer.

Sanchez is one dimensional - batting average and not much else. On top of that, he regresses this year some to around .315 or .320.

Fielder will get you great power numbers as he continues his breakout. Pettitte is a bit of a question, but he can handle the NY atmosphere and should pitch well.

On most draft boards, BOTH Pettitte and Fielder are rated higher than Sanchez. A one for one trade is a good deal. Getting both is a great one. Sanchez simply won't add what you may be thinking he will with that average. Just look at all his other numbers.

I was about to smack you upside the head for wanting to do this deal, and then I read that you were giving up Sanchez. Pull the trigger if you were offered this and don't think twice about it. Fielder will come into his own this year and hit 40 bombs, Pettite is a bonus

depends on who your 1st baseman, how strong your pitching is, and if you have a utility spot on your roster but without looking at all of that I would take it because I think Fielder has got room to improve and Sanchez probably had a fluke of a year last year. Plus Pettite's run support is going to be so much better with the Yankees than with Houston last year.

Well if Pettitte pitches like he does when he's healthy and Prince improves on last year's #'s, there is a huge upside to the trade. The only downside i see to that is if Pettite gets hurt or Prince does not perform well. You might want to keep him as a utility in case the yankees are not playing that day but i think that would be a good trade : )

Cowsvils and Tim are right. This is a huge mismatch. Sanchez has almost no fantasy value (except AVG) and you are getting two solid players in return.

That said, I would veto this trade if I saw it one of my leagues!

going old college right here. Nolan Ryan. That guy could throw a punch. Noone would can charge the mound against him reason he would connect. yet in todays sport i'd bypass with, Giambi,Zambrano, and massive papi. those adult males are particularly massive and prob could %. a punch.

for sure get a starting pitcher who will get at least 15 wins if healthy and an upand coming player for a player who is on a bad team and wont score many runs or have much chance to drive in runs.

Any decent arm is good to have and Fielder has potential. I would.
