My husband has been working really hard lately and has just exhausted himself at work. He came home early today, and has passed out on the bed. He is wearing his suit and tie and dress shoes. If I try to undress him or take his shoes off he'll wake up, then he will have trouble sleeping tonight, since he's already had a long nap. Should I just cover him up and let him sleep? I would have to sleep on the couch tonight if I let him sleep because right now he's on top of the bedspread. Which is fine, I like the couch better than our bed anyway. What would you do? Risk waking him up or cover him and let him sleep?

Take his shoes off and loosen his tie and let him sleep.
Hes a tuckered lil fella and if he wasnt tired, he wouldnt have slept so long.
Let the guy alone and make ur bed on the couch hun. Pop in a good chick flick and take advantage of it.....lol
Good luck hun.

Aww, I'd just cover him up and let him sleep. Maybe if he starts getting some good nights of rest, he won't pass out as quickly.

You can also try to have the bed-spread pulled back for him so he falls asleep on the sheet and you can cover him up that way and still be able to sleep next to him.

I am laughing out loud at your question because I am in the same dilemma, kinda. My husband fell asleep on the couch about an hour ago with his clothes on too. And he's snoring like a freight train. I don't want to wake him for the same reason as you. I'm worried though because when he sleeps on the couch he always wakes up with a sore neck. What to do... I should probably wake him up so he's not in pain tomorrow. It would have been nice to have the whole bed to myself... Well, good luck with your hubby!

Poor guy, I would let him sleep. Maybe he'll wake up himself to use the restroom and you can jump in the bed.

I'd cover him up with a blanket and let him sleep. Working people need their rest too.

I would cover him up and leave a note next to the bed. Telling him you love him and didnt want to wake him.
