I search the web a little and find out that in addition to the skin (including hair, nails, etc); our blood, ribs, livers, even brains can also regenerate itself.

The blood cells are made in the bone marrow to replenish our blood all the time. That's why we can give blood and safe a life.

Livers cells can grow fast if something occurs that injure the liver. 1/3 of a liver can grow back to its functioning mass in 2 weeks. But the doctor I read about argues that it's hyperplasia (super fast grow?) and not true regeneration. Regardless, the ability allows the doctors to perform liver transplant and saves lots of lives.

Your ribs can regenerate itself, too. The periosteum contains cells that can manufacture new bone. Particularly in young people, 'rib periosteum has a remarkable ability to regenerate bone, perhaps more so than any other bone' (Carl Wieland).

As for the brain, I am no neurologist. Good luck researching it. I hope this is helpful.

I have read that the liver and stomach (or stomach muscles) have the ability of regeneration.
