she constructed that 400 million dollar school in africa. the school only accepted like a couple hundred girls though. for that amount of money she could have put schools on the entire continent of africa. instead all she has done is create a class system in africa who are learning materialism that can only be satisfied in america.

The woman is obviously doing some good in the world. She actually tries to make a difference... but I think she is arrogant, and I personally just don't like her. I have to give her an A for effort. Oh, in case you didn't hear, Communism doesn't work. A class system is completely natural. Whatever those African'ts are doing isn't working, so anything is an improvement.

What Oprah did was kinda stupid because as you said, yes she could have made many many more schools and the fact that only a couple hundred people were enlisted is extremely stupid. But the other things she does are sensible.

I wouldn't use the word evil...just wrong.It reminds me of Extreme Makeover:Home Edition.Yeah,it's great that these people have these big fancy houses after all the suffering they went through,but I would think it'd be better to just build nice standard homes for more people.It's all about ratings though.I'm used to pop culture only being "good" people when it works for them.

People are always going to criticize what you do, nothing is ever good enough. I give props to Oprah for even opening a school, spending her money on something other than herself. The glass is always half empty or full to people. At least she did something.

She is great! To run a high-education school, there has to be some kind of limit. Besides, the girls can apply again the next year if they get their grades up.
