It is asking you to write the order of roman emperors and what they did while in office.

Describe just means telling information about a subject. If you "describe" the sun, you could say it is bright yellow and hot-stuff like that. With Roman emperor's, you would start with one of the earliest, go to the next one, telling the name, maybe what years he ruled. As an example: Caligula (not sure when he actually ruled), then his uncle, Claudius, then Nero ruled. It's a very interesting subject you're studying. You could always do an internet search and print some information out and read before writing your papers. Good luck!

They want you to make a list of the emperors (kind of like the us presidents) of rome and put them in order of who was the the first emperor to who was the last! =) hope this helps a little.
