I don't have a Ipod... im just asking for a friend.... but if there is a way... what do i need.... and how do i do it. Will it make a difference if its transferring from an Ipod to an Ipod nano..

Connect your iPod first. Then, go to My Computer and double click the iPod icon.
Go to Tools > Folder Options > 2nd page (view) and choose to have all file types shown.
Go back to My Computer, then click on the iPod icon again and into your music folder and send any song you want to your My Documents.

I don't know a way to transfer music from one Ipod to another. But I do know if you have the music on your computer they can sync the music in their Ipod that way. Sorry, but I hope this helps some :)

Most software for controlling ipods (other than itunes) lets you copy music from the ipod onto a computer. Once you have it there, you can use that software (or anything else) to copy it to the second ipod. This won't work for any music you bought from the itunes store, but that goes without saying whenever you choose DRM.

Use third party software and upload musics from ur ipod to pc. Then sync to another ipod from pc again.
