The oath doctors take today is still called the hippocratic oath, and many parts of it are still the same as the original, in intent if not in wording, since the original was in ancient greek..

A couple parts have been changed, namely the parts about teaching medicine to other people, abortion, and conflicts of interest. A more complete list is available online somewhere

Hippocrates didn't necessarily "find" that diseases were the result of natural causes, but rather he believed this, he also believed in some horrendously incorrect things about the human body, such as the four humors, and some incorrect anatomy.

But for the most part the reason he came to those conclusions is most likely simple logic. It's tough to tell because his background is still rigorously debated. What is known is that he used scientific enquiry to come up with results and classifications that are still valid today

Depends on which country you are in. For most physicians the Oath is still considered to be a rite of passage although it has been altered in some major ways.

1. The Greek gods are no longer praised
2. Men alone are no longer the sole recipients of education
3. Abortion is no longer prohibited
4. Euthanasia is no longer prohibited

In the 1970's due to social and political pressure many American medical schools abandoned the oath altogether.
