If you both like him, both can also be friends with him and let him decide if he wants to be more than friends with either of you. The choice would seem to be his to make. If and when he makes that decision accept it and stay friends with him and your best friend. If he decides to just be friends with both of you and date someone else entirely, still be his friend as well as his girlfriends friend. Hope this makes sense to you.

Depends on who was interested first. If your friend was interested first, step aside and be a good friend. But, no matter what, if this is a good friend, you should talk about it and try to talk about it. Friendship is lasting, dating can be a passing thing. There is nothing to say that this is the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. Do you really want to risk losing your friend over a boy. You reallly have to think about this before you do anything. Personally, I think friendship comes first, it's so hard to find a friend you really like and some one you really trust. dates come and go, there will always be someone else, talk about with your friend and see who really likes him more and if you can't make up your minds, both of you should let him go.

What do you like best about this person, is it their looks or their personality? Things might work out between you and this person or they might not and they are interested in your friend instead. Either way you have to figure out what kind of person you want to be. If it ends up being your friend, are you going to let it ruin your friendship? I hope not especially since there are so many people in the world that you could like that are better than this person. If it is you be as gracious as you can with your friend, remember this is not a competition and you shouldn't mess up something good that you have right now. Good luck

Step faraway from the boy. No boy is worth risking your friendship going into the crapper over. I recommend she's your bud and in a attractive international, she'd be all 'the finest lady received', yet in the real international the problem is basically ripe for her to resent the finished problem and also you for putting your friendship in it. they are going to be different hotties.

Well it depends. Who liked him or her first? If she liked him first you probaly don't really like him or her you just feel like you need to because your friend likes him. It happens to me all the time. Just tell your self you dont really like him [or her] and move on. Don't let it ruin your friendship. If you liked him first its probaly the same thing. Hope this helps.

Evaluate the situation....
See who he seems like he would work better with..
Who has more in common. Talk to your best friend about it.
And if that's happening...Unless you feel this spark..
Just let it go..let your friend have him!

Now don't you think it would depend more on if this person of your affection likes you or her or neither of you or BOTH???
All's fair in love and war, or so it goes!

OBVIOUS BEST FRIEND RULES!

who ever liked him first..get him..i know its unfair but that the way it is, if he doesn't like her and he likes you still don't date him because even if she says she doesn't mind.she does and you know it.try as hard as you can to get over him..go find another hottie :)
