why are my smiley grams returned as undeliverable mail?

whenever i send a smiley gram to a couple of my friends, i immediately get a notice that they were undeliverable. i can send regular e-mail to these addresses, so whats the problem? thanks

maybe they are marked as spam by the mailer-bot...just maybe...
