Is Angelina going too far with this family thing?

It is nice to adopt all these children, but do you think it is partly a publicity thing?

She keeps adopting children in underprivileged areas. That is a good thing, but it feels to me like she picks out children that will make her look like a heroine. She also has set of a trend – it has suddenly become the thing to do. It bothers me that adopting these kids is a lot like a fad. I mean Michelle Phiffer adopted her daughter years ago, and there was not this big of a to do about them. I think that there is a good deal of this that is publicity, but I do believe that she loves her children. At least their nanny does, money doesn’t provide love.

I guess she can adopt as many as her nanny can handle. They aren't taking care of those kids all day long like every other domestic woman and husband. If I had loads of money, sure it's easier. I partly do think it's publicity. Would she be adopting this many if Brad were NOT in the picture?

I do not think Angelina Jolie is adopting children for publicity. I think she genuinely cares for impoverished people and children. But I do think she should stop adopting children. She has to realize that she can't save every child. I know she's been to Darfur, in the Sudan, and other places. She should put her efforts into getting relief agencies to handle those situations.

Oh, yeah it's a publicity stunt to voice her views absolutely it is. But she's done it too much now and it's not drawing the attention like it was so it's kinda backfiring on her. True, it's nice to give these kids a home and parents, but how are they gonna be when they're older after globe-trotting the world like they do. Children need stability and discipline. She better get back to making movies and make some more money to feed and clothe and other essentials these kids are gonna need 'til they're grown.

I think it's mostly a publicity thing. She knows there is more publicity adopting a foreign child than an American child. There are thousands of orphans in this country, but Angelina Phoney is above adopting a "mere" American child.

Somewhat, I mean you can probably see how when she goes to visit all these countries how she must feel like oh these poor kids, I can actually help them,or at least one or two. My only criticism of her right now is that she continues to adopt children from all of these foreign countries, but what about the thousands of poor children in the US who are in desperate need of loving homes - I just feel that maybe she could be doing something in her own backyard to help too.

I don't think it's a publicity thing. I think she just wants to do what she can for the world, and if that means adopting a kid from every country in the world, then so be it! She certainly has the income to handle all those kids anyway!

The kids will have a much better life now than if they had stayed in the orphanages. I can't fault the woman for choosing to take in 3 orphans. Raising kids is tough - she could have chosen to do something alot less tough if she just wanted publicity.

No, and I do not think that she will stop with four kids. I remember in one of the interview she said she would like to have at least 6-7 kids, and Brad Pitt said something the same in one of his interview. I think they are excellent couple and will adopt more.

I don't think that she's doing it for publicity...she's trying to do good in her life and set a positive example. I do think that she doesn't need to adopt any more children thou.
