So, today we had a science quiz. I really couldn't answer one of the questions, so I looked through the paper of the girl next to me. She had 10, so I put that down. But then I thought, oh, our science teacher wants to see the work. So I erased my 10, and did the work, but then as I was doing the work, I got 8.

After the quiz, everyone was sharing their answer for that one, and pretty much everyone got 10.

If I cheated, which is WRONG, I would have gotten that question correct. But I decided not to cheat, and I did the work myself, but got it wrong.

So, if cheating is wrong, and if I cheated, wouldn't I have gotten that question right because I CHEATED?

I understand where you are coming. I did that a couple times to tell you the honest truth. It is wrong because the other person probably worked really hard. That isn't fair if you don't study and copy off of them. That person worked really hard and deserves that grade, not the person copying. Yes, it might get you an A, but you couldn't feel proud of yourself. You didn't that, the other person did. I personally felt guilty after i cheated and yes, got the answer right. I am not saying you are bad, you did the right thing. You were honest and true to yourself. I am proud of what you did. It doesn't take just anybody to not cheat.

Besides, if you cheated, and put down 10 there would be no work...so the teacher might catch on that you were cheating and you might get in major trouble.

I once knew this girl that ALWAYS cheated. everyone knew also. So, one day she was copying someone's sheet. The girl she was copying off of decided to erase all of her answers to the wrong ones. The girl (Chloe) who was copying off of the other girl handed her sheet in. The girl who had been cheated off of (Halie) then erased all of her answers before handing it in and put in the right ones. Chloe was all upset because she knew what Halie had done. She got an F on her test and she never cheated again. It really goes to show you that yes, you may get an A for cheating, but it might all backfire and land you with an F.

Even if you did get the answer wrong, you probably would have gotten part marks because you showed your calculations. Not all exams and tests are based on the correct answer at the end, they want to see what you have learnt and as long as you have the basic concept correct you will get at least some points. The only person you are cheating by copying answers is yourself.

well if you cheating on youre writting or reading tests in any of youre classes then thats wrong cause what happen that girl or boy got the wrong answer on their tests and you also have the same answer as everybody else then you willl be also wrong on youre papers . well not true that everybody does cheat on their tests in depend if they dont even try their best to choose and write down what is the right answers on the tests .Maybe next time you shouldnt do that looking at sombody else paper get the wrong answers. not everybody else inst prefect what they did get ? if you dont know the right answer on youre test then just pass it and start at youre next questions til you finure out what is the last answer is ? either you dont even studying youre notes and words that going be on the test then you wouldnt able have any good grade or even have the chance to graduated from school .

If you cheat, you may get the question right, but you don't know how it's done. So do you see why cheating is wrong? Without the knowladge of doing things and how to do them, what good is the answer?

You would have gotten the answer correct but you would have been cheating yourself.

People should do the right thing just because it's the right thing.......no matter what the consequences.

You made the right choice if you did a almost perfect by yourself, than 10's which no one might have known if it was right or wrong. You feel better when you do something really good on your own than knowing you copied something you didn't know.
