Are internal disk drives usually located at the base of of desktop towers?

they are usually in the middle of the front..
amongst the other drives.. usually...

Internal Hard drives almost every time come in the middle of the front cover, right under the CD Drive.

Could be anywhere. front,middle,laying down,standing upright.
