I guess it comes from poverty.
Haven't heard anyone else say that in years... Takes me right back to school, that does!

Pover is GUI interface for POV-Ray options. Program help's to change many options of POV-Ray Render. With Pover you can open and save configuration files for reuse it later. It depends what document or book you read it from. To satisfy my curiosity I looked in my dictionary and that word was'nt there. So if pover is pronounced Pov ver....it could be abreviated for poverty[poor] but if pover is pronounced p'over it could denote pass over.
