The hair on my arms is very pale; you can't even see it unless you're pretty close to me. But it's long and sometimes I feel self-conscious about it. So I cut it with some small hair cutting scissors every couple months, moreso in the summertime.
Shaving the hair on your arms will make your arms feel prickly because the very short stubs will feel sharp when they first grown in. Shaving hair doesn't make it grow back thicker. It also doesn't affect the color or rate of growth. The color, location, thickness and length of hair on your body mainly depend on genetics and hormones.
After you shave body hair, it may feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, it may be more noticeable — and may appear darker or thicker. But it's not.
If the hair on your arms is dark, you might want to try lightening it.

Some girls prefer to leave the hair on their arms and other prefer to shave it off. I personally do not shave my arms because I think that shaving them is weird and the hair will come out prickly and icky which will then make you have to shave them from then on.

If you mean your armpits, then usually yes, if you mean the hair on the skin of your arms, then no. But then again, what aren't you supposed to do for beauty? But just so you know, either way is fine. Many women shave their armpits everyday, but I haven't shaved my armpits in AGES. There are rumours that if you shave, then the hair will grow back faster, but that has not been proven.

Please do not shave your arms. The hair that grows back will "look" thicker and darker because of the angle that it is cut with the razor. Use a depilitory cream, you may have to try several brands before you find the right one, but they work great for arms, I usuallly wax all over, but keep up with my arms with Sally Hansen Vitamin C Hair Remover (orange bottles) After you apply the after lotion, it feels GREAT! Good Luck :)

I don't shave but I wax. If waxing is not a possibility then use a tweezer. Painful but definitely worth it. You don't want hairy armpits. Shaving is my last resort.

girls definitely should not shave their arms. fist of all, it is a pain, and second, if you miss a day, you will feel prickly. I suggest just leaving them... it is natural to have hair on your arms. If you do shave, it will grow back thicker because it is thicker near the root, and also it will grow faster the more times you shave it.

don't shave your arms! my friend did that when she was nine and now her arms are pretty hairy. I just leave my arm hair as it is, but my arm hair is blonde so it doesn't matter really. i guess you could bleach them if you were really worried about it. But you don't have to remove your arm hair.

I would just leave them if you shave them they will probably grow back in fast so you have to keep continuously shaving them and they will probably be thicker too.
