No, they just think about it differently!
Men are biologically programmed to want to sleep with lots of women (as the greatest chance of survival of the species is to mate with as many women as possible). Hence they come across as being more sex-mad. This does not mean that they can't stay faithful, as their minds are capable of ruling over matter!
Women are biologically programmed to mate with less men as back in the days when we were cavemen, it was important for us to have a man who could take care of us when we were vulnerable. This does not mean we can't enjoy sex for the sake of it, but we have different basic biological programming to men. For example, we might think about sex just as much, but are more likely to think of it in the context of our mate.
Did you know that only homo sapiens and chimpanzees mate for sexual pleasure? Social Anthropology is a very complex thing, and as modern as we are, our basic instincts are still ... well, basic!

Some folks spend a life time trying to understand the opposite sex, without ever taking time to discover what they are themselves. I prefer to acknowledge that there is a difference, and not just between the sexes, but between us all. Some do, some don't, vive la difference!

most men think about the actual sex where as most women day dream about how you get to the sex.

i think both men and women think about sex in equal amounts... its only because we can't see other peoples thoughts that we wrongly assume, one is more or less than the other....
its really about the same...
