It depends where exactly where you are. The breeding season usually overlaps with hunting seasons. Breeding when the bucks are chasing the does is the rut and it is crazy. Breeding is usually in the fall. Fawns are usually born in spring and summer. Hunting season isn't in the spring because white-tailed deer shed their antlers and it is hard to decide if one is male or female without the antlers.
