I was wondering who owns a fennec fox?Are they actually dangerous species or are they sweet and gentle as some say?I'm planning to get a fennec fox of my own some day:)

Owning a fennec fox, if your state allows it at all, requires an exotic animal license from the state division of wildlife resources, so make sure you get all the legal stuff dealt with before you get your heart set on having one. You also need to make sure you have the proper facilities to keep one, because it isn't like having a poodle.
Fennecs can be very sweet, but they are never domestic animals. They are always wild, and therefore completely unpredictable and capable of damage and destruction to both you and your house. It can be difficult to find a vet who is qualified to treat them, and it can be equally difficult to keep them housed properly because they are great jumpers and even better diggers.
