This is the often quoted experiment whereby you put identical amounts of hot and cold water in a freezer and the hot one apparently freezes first.

I suspectected this was pseudo science and that the myth was perpetuated because nobody can actually be bothered to do it.
I did. I have too much time on my hands.

I want to know if you did it, how you set up your experiment, contol, etc.

I want to know your results. I want to compare with mine. I actually want people to test this and find out once and for all if this is a pile of sweaty blue pants or divine wisdom. Obviously, I can't tell you what result I got. I want to know what you got and how you did it. Maybe then someone can work it out scientifically rather than in a pub after 4 pints of Stella.

I havent done it, as it would be a savage experiment to put the freezer under that stress. I dont want to weaken my already sick fridge. lol
