As everyone else has pointed out, you need to get a thermometer. They run about $4 for your typical floating thermometer to around $15 for a digital thermometer. Your betta's temperature should be warmer than room temperature - between 78 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit is best.
For the record, your bettas will become stressed and possibly sick from the constant stimulation from each other. Even though you have the divider, there's a chance that it may not be enough - bettas are known jumpers and one may decide to jump to the other side.
Your best bet is to only keep one betta in there. Depending on the size of the tank, you could probably put a couple of community fish in with him.

You need at least one thermometer in the tank to determine the temp
of the tank water.
Personally,I prefer a floating thermometer & a bottom thermometer(shot
filled to make it sink)....to give a more better picture of the tanks temp.
Bettas enjoy a higher temp than some freshwater types.
If your pet shop can't provide you with a comfort range for this breed,...
then do some research at your local library.

Get a termometer strip, you should have something in your house that measures temperature. If not just go buy a thermometer strip which costs about 2 bucks or buy a electric thermometer which costs about 10 bucks. If you want to check now, stick your finger in the water. If its freezing balls just warm it up a little KEY WORD BEING A LITTLE

Just go to the local pet store pick up a thermometer. Also you should get something for your bettas to hide inside. Since they can see each other all the time this is stressful, and they need a palce to retreat too.

If you have a regular thermometer in the medicine cabinet you can use that. Just make sure you're rinse it off in clean water first.

Is there a wal-mart or a petsmart somewhere near you? If there is, I would go there, I have guppies and I get my water/tank thermometers from wal-mart all of the time, they don't cost much and they work well.
