error message when trying to run PSP games?

i downloaded a few PSP games. they have the eboot and keys bin files. the menus work fine but when you try to load them i get the message "to use this content you must activate the system." my PSP is running version 3.11 and can anyone tell me what i have to do to get these games working? thanks. try to give answer, a direction to an old forum doesnt usually help if the forum thread is deleted or changed.

i have access to a ps3. what do i have to do with it to make the ps1-psp games work? thanks again.

First of all, those are not PSP games. Those are PS1 games running on PSP.

Second, in order to run those, you either need to have a PS3 or your PSP has customized firmware 3.03 OE-c or 3.10 OE-a.

Unfortunately, there is no way to install customized firmware from 3.11.
