The trombone is the only chromatic brass instrument which doesn't usually have valves.
Bugles do not have valves.
The original French Horns did not have valves: They came with several extra pieces of tubing called 'crooks' which the player had to remove and replace it with another one of slightly different length to change the pitch between F- and Bb.
Hunters horns do not have valves.
Ancient Trumpets did not have valves.
(Sorry, the cymbals are a precussion instrument.)

cymbals are not brass they r percussion for the person who said it! Trombone does not have valves.
