I have 20 months experience, skills, and working for that company, they then reject me saying lack of experience & skills. is that discrimination?

Just because you have 20 months means squat. The position may require 4 years and more skills than you currently have, or the strongest applicants all had more experience and skills than you. Then legally they can say you don't have enough experience and skills, and sure, it's LEGAL discrimination. They are the hiring company, as long as they follow the rules/standards they set, there is no issue.

Honestly, people get so caught up in what is discrimination, they don't know that there are two forms - and that's what an interview is. Get a grip.

It could be that they are looking for a person who has more experience. If you worked for the company before, perhaps a previous manager probably put a drawback on your application when you put your two weeks in and that might be the problem.

I don't think it's discrimination unless they refuse to hire you if you're of a certain race, gender, religion, etc.

Ask them what they consider as experience and skill. Even though I have to agree that over 1 year of experience and skills is a lot.

You are leaving out alot. 20 months experience in what? Fast food, you are qualified, rockey science.......... not really. Add some details and then we can try again.
