I NEED TO DO A SLIDESHOW PRESINTATION AT MY SCHOOL IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO IT WITHOUT BUYING SOME PROGRAM OR WITHOUT POWERPOINT ??? HELP PLZ!

If you don't have PowerPoint, OpenOffice has a slideshow program that works mostly like it, and is free.
If you know HTML, there are other options, such as S5 and HTML Slidy that use javascipt to play a slideshow in a web browser. These don't let you make complicated graphics or effects very easily, but you can make text-based slideshows pretty quickly.
If you happen to know LaTeX, there's a package called prosper that can make slideshows as pdf files, and has some nice pre-made graphic styles.

I guess if it is just pictures then you could put in a blank cd and drag a folder of pictures in it. then save it and play it as a slide show. you are probably better off with power point
