I can say many thing about his philosophy but I will only say that in philosophy, at last we always turn back to him. Whatever we think or do, everytime we found the solution in his arguments. Yes, Thales can be called as first philosopher, but father of the philosophy is certainly Plato.

We can not save(!) ourselves from his forms!!!

He was much to caught up in ideals or "forms" as he called them. I much prefer Aristotle to Plato personally.

I liked his ideas about Universals and Particulars but i think he spent too much time talking....and spent too much time trying to remember what Socrates said..
