True fan sticks with their team - Pittsburgh Penguins. Emotions are soaring right now...team talent, new arena deal, Mario's not selling the team...the Stanley Cup would fit right next in line for the most amazing season the Penguins have had in a long time.

I can't wait for the day when I see them raise Lord Stanley's Cup again...Lord Stanley, Lord Stanley, give me the brandy!!!

Let's Go Pens!!!

San Jose Sharks.

They have a solid team with one of the best powerplays and one of the best 1-2 punch players in Marleau and Thornton. They have 2 starting goaltenders in Nabby and Vesa. They have depth, youth and size. They upgraded their defense by adding experience and leadership with Craig Rivet. They also added another awesome winger in Bill Guerin to add to their arsenal of attacks! They are on a small winning streak right now with Nabokov just scorching hot, and they will put it all together and make a run for the Stanley Cup.

As a LA KINGS fan It has been another frustrated season. I think the Calgary will beat San Jose in 7 in West Final.Nashville & Anaheim are to young.Minnesota is boring, and Detriot has goaltending, but I think the loss of Brendon Shannahan, and Yzerman will hurt their tenacity in the playoffs.Vancouver isn't tough enough. The Dallas Stars to me lack grit, and they can become nonchalant @ times. The addition of Billy Guerin for San Jose will pay dividens come playoff time. Calgary was injury proned earlier, and is streaking @ the right time, and has all the pieces in place to win.

In the East, if Gerber and Emery can get hot, than Ottawa will beat New Jersey in 6 in the East Final..Buffalo hasn't convinced me with Ryan Miller just yet, and Pittsburgh needs A+ goaltending, Carolina was a fluke last year, and should've never let go of Gerber The NY teamsRangers & Isles), will exit early, Atlanta is inexpierence,Tampa Bay doesn't have enought dept...CAN U SAY ALL-CANADIEN FINAL!..Calgary beats Ottawa in 6....CANADA RIGHTFULLY DESERVES THIS..

Well, I am a huge Motown Wings fan, but I think they just don't have it this year. This year and next year are going to be their rebuilding years, in my opinion. After losing Stevie Y, they need to bounce back. I hate to say it, but I think this is the year for Nashville. If they don't win The Cup, they'll at least be in the finals. Kariya is just too quick and sneaky. They needed him! I am not a Forsberg fan, of course, because he played for the Avs, but I think he was a mistake for the Preds. Just my opinion, though. Opinions are never wrong. I'll say it anyway........ Let's go Dead Wings!!!

The Atlanta Thrashers! They have a coach who when his team has made the play-offs has made it at least to the conference finals and has won the Cup before. They also have a hot young goalie, and young goalies have made great impressions int he play-offs recently. They also have this little duo....Hossa and Kovalchuk. Throw them in with Tkachuk and Zhitnik for leadership and you've got your dark horse winner! Plus the Hurricanes missed the play-offs the year before, then got a 3 seed and won, thats what the Thrashers are doing. So.....go Atlanta!!!!

I still think the DUCKS will win the Cup, but watchout for the Pens and Red Wings they've been hot lately.

Minnesota has a really good shot. Their depth at goaltender is amazing, and their first two lines when healthy are one of the strongest in the league. Nashville has played good consistent hockey all year as well, and wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run, and you can't count Buffalo out, or Detroit. My pick however would be Minnesota. Manny and Backstrom are amazing, and Gabby and Demitra are powerhouses.
