Okay here's how it is. My best friend, Paige, has a crush in this boy, Thomas. But my problem is I always flirt with him, even when she's right there. I try not to but I really can't help it. She got really mad at one of our friend's for going out with him, and I don't want our friendship to end like her and our other friends did. Could you help me? Please?

it doesnt matter wich of you flirt with him he is the one who will choose and there is no gaurentee that it will last

well, if you dont actually like him but you just flirt with him and she hasnt said anything yet then, who cares! lol.
but if you do like him and shes your best friend, just tell her that you like him but make it totally clear that you would never EVER steal him because best friends never do that to each other and you just wanted to be a good freind and be totally honest so you wouldnt be keeping stuff from her and you know shede do the same.
for yourself, try to flirt with all the other guys you can. then, theyll flirt back and eventually youll be focused more on another guy. if you talk to Paige about this then you can ask her to help you look for another dude as you help her get with Thomas. if your just honest and try to be a good friend it should all work out. if shes being selfsish and gets mad at you, im almost sure she'll get over if but understand that it happens and that best freinds can only get stronger if they can overcome their arguements.

that's a situation i've been in, but on paige's side. it's tough to see your best friends flirting with the guy they know you like. and it hurts very badly if the guy knows how you feel too.
try your absolute hardest not to flirt with him. make a conscious effort to notice when he's flirting with you and don't flirt back. talk to paige as well and let her know you don't mean to hurt her. make sure that if it's definitely bothering her you stop. distancing yourself from him might help too.
losing a friend over a boy is a terrible thing, so don't let things go that far.

She shouldn't really be getting mad at other people for going out with him, because thats their decision.. not hers, just because she likes him doesnt stop anybody from going out with him.
I think if you respected her more as a friend you would realize that flirting with your friends crush is obviously wrong... just think about it... is it worth losing your friendship over a guy

Unless him and her are together, then he is on the market, you can flirt with him and she shouldn't get mad because she don't own him. I know that you want to remain friends with her but she seems kind of controling. You are not doing anything wrong, so in my personal opinion you can continue to do what you are doing. If she gets mad at you tell her that him and her aren't together, so you are free to flirt with whoever you want. Girl, please don't let people control you! Good luck!

girls get really bad about that stuff. i personally would not care.
for you though, if you are honestly worried about it, talk to her about how you feel so she knows what you want to do. After you talk, it should all be understood that shes not ivolved so there is no reason you can not be with him. a real friend will do what makes her friend happy.

If you love your friend that should be enough ... you should know what to do....try to avoid him and try to keep your mouth closed when you are around him.... let your friend have a chance.... you will be happy you did.

you can help it. I doubt you're that weak willed. Me thinks you like the attention(both negative and positive). Thats too bad for your friend..I had a friend like you once, she made my life miserable.
