I want to buy my son one that has a silencer and headlightes and tail lights ,so is it legal to ride one without a licence in pennsylvania

Depends where in the world you are.

In the UK it is strictly illegal to ride without a licence, tax, insurance, front and rear lights and a crash helmet.

In Kansas it is illegal on any highway, road, street or sidewalk. It's also illegal unless you are a licensed driver over 16. There have been so many kids hurt on them but I never even see them for sale now. It's gonna be different state by state. Good Luck and God Bless

no. regardless of the equipment. You must have a drivers license to operate a motorized vehicle on a roadway. Not to mention that you would need a separate motorcycle license.

It is illegal to drive them on the road. It is illegal to drive them if you are not at least 16 with a driver's license.
