I need to earn $1,500 for a church trip to Ecuador. I'm already looking into babysitting and chores are not an option because my parents refuse to pay me to do them, even though I do. I need an honest, fast way to make money. Please, thank you, & God Bless!

You can always babysit or do chores (mowing, house cleaning, etc.) for OTHER families in your neighborhood. Understand that your parents may just not have the extra to give you even if you work for it. Also, if it is a missions trip, you may be able to get church members to donate to your effort.

I agree with the first person.

If you really want to go to Ecuador that bad, it wouldn't hurt to wait one more year and go the following year because you don't want to go unprepared.

But I agree that you can do chores for neighbors and family friends:

1. Mow the lawn.
2. Run errands.
3. Babysit.
4. Get a newspaper route.
5. Many companies hire teens on the weekends to hold signs up for their business. You can listen to your walkman and take your lunch.

What about yard work, say maybe raking leaves, mowing yards, etc. This work is hard but, can be completed by males or females who are willing to work for a good cause. Maybe the church members will have referrals for you?

set up a car wash (and take some cheap classes or something so you can charge more.)
