Go to your director and explain your situation to him just like you did here. It doesn't sound like complaining. He may not have known you were interested. You can say something like, "I'm completing my schedule for next year and I would like to take the ensemble class. Are any spots still available?" Then allow the conversation to move towards selection practices and how you can insure your interests and commitment are acknowledged. He may not change anything at this point, but you will at least have expressed your interests and you may just receive the answer you need to hear. Good luck!

Just ask what his criteria is for placement in Ensemble Choir, and if you don't meet any of that criteria ask him what you can do to improve and try to make ensemble choir. He may feel that you are not ready, or he may not know that you care about it as much as you do so you should definitely voice your concern.
Ask him if you could audition for ensemble choir, or work on it over the summer with the chance of being placed in it when you come back.
If you feel strongly that you should be plaed in Ensemble then you should definitely talk to him, but make sure that you have reasons other than your friends being placed in there so that he knows you want to be in the choir, not just that you want to be where your friends are.

Just telling him what you need to work on in order to be placed in Ensemble and ask him that if you continue to do better this year if he will consider allowing you in the Ensemble next year.

That's a tough call. If you want to ask to be bumped up, you shouldn't just go in there saying you should be in ensemble "because I'm good." you should offer to give an audition of some sort, you'll seem a little bit more reasonable (and he'll know you're committed)

i'm a becoming junior, too, so I purely have 2 years to %. from, i assume... in terms of training/workload, freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days grow to be actual extra appropriate... sophomore 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, I had 3 AP training, 3 Honors training, and extra competitions to pass and omit college for than I did freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. in terms of each and every thing else... i assume sophomore 3 hundred and sixty 5 days grow to be extra appropriate... no person desires to be "the small fish interior the huge ocean!" yet junior 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's gonna suck...

Ask him what improvements you could do in order to get into enesmble. By asking this you sound like you want to be in it and you are willing to work for it. Same time you find out the reason on why you did not get picked. Good luck.
