does it fog the windows up when you turn on your heater, b/c if it does, then it sounds like your heater core has a leak and it is getting in your vent system. It will only get worse if you don't get it fixed!

Baffles Me! Perhaps it's not a leak. If you are smelling antifreeze, then it might be a thermostat problem causing the antifreeze to come up into the overflow container when the engine get too hot. Have your mechanic check to see if it has a summer thermostat vice a winter thermostat. Most new cars have a sealed cooling system but some older models may not. Also check your heating gauge when the engine is hot.

You probabally have a pin hole leak in one of your heater hoses. These hoses aren't in plain view and often drip straight onto the exhaust manifold, which will magnify the smell. If you have the time and ability to take your intake to inspect these hoses you could probabally find the leaker. If your water level is not going down, it's not an urgent matter.

check the passenger side floorboard , if it's damp or wet then it's your heater core, under the dash, above the wetness.
