as far as i know, there is no word in the bible that translates directly to "homosexual" and sodomites were from sodom...the city was corupt.... they weren't gay.... and instead of taking a passage out of context, try reading the entire chapter..... i could go on..... people can make the bible say whatever want to... for or against anything.... i think people should be allowed to love whomever they want. and my judgement at the end of my life is between ME and GOD... i dont need anyone as the middleman...

Leviticus 18: 22 says: 'You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
That is probably the verse you were thinking of.
also
1 Corinthians 6: 9 says: Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
These two make the Bible's view on it pretty clear. Hope that was what you were looking for.

Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite[homosexual] of the sons of Israel.
1 Kings 14:24 And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
1 Kings 15:12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
1 Kings 22:46 And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.
2 Kings 23:7 And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
Job 36:14 They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

I was going to put a really sarcastic answer, then I remembered you said you would report. So now all I have to say is I don't know where it says anything, and to keep in mind this is a book written by MAN not GOD and translated in various ways throughout time and different cultures (usually in a way to back up what each individual believes). OK, bye bye.

The Bible condemns homosexuality in the Old and New Testament. There is no word play, there is no personal preference of the authors (Paul, Moses). Sodomy refers to the town who was corrupt but their primary corruption was homosexuality.
There is an excellent debate about the Biblical Perspectives of Homosexuality.

Lev 18:22 says Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination.
Lev 20:13 it says If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
I notice it says nothing about a woman lying with a woman. Hooray for me.
