How do I get the dungeon keeper 1.7 patch to find my game?

I recently formatted my computer but before I did I put all the DK2 files on a site for me to get after. I now have them but I didnt have the patch. Once I put all the files and download the 1.7 patch it says the game is not installed. So does anyone know how I get make the patch know the game is on my comp? Or does anyone know where the files themselves are hosted?

The patch can't find the program because it really *isn't* installed. When you install a program it writes information all over Windows, not just in the main program directory. Without all that extra information (which isn't there since you reformatted your computer) the patch doesn't know where to install. If the patch doesn't give you the option to choose a target you're going to have to back up your saved game data, reinstall the game, and copy your saves into the new installation.
