I want to start a mowing biz among friends how much should I charge per regular 1/4 and 1/2 acre lots.

How much should I pay my friends?

Best way to advertise?

Best ways to get custumers?

How many lawns will we regularly cut in a week?

Is this even worth considering??

How to get contracts with like Banks,Post office, Stores....

Stay away from commercial and large lots.
Try to stay with strangers.

Best way to get customers is to start with
something. Word gets around. Also, hand
out flyers and business cards.

Quarter acre lots are best.
Price it by the year with so many cuts
guaranteed.
You need to do ten a day and up to make
a living.
Every locality is different. You need to
be competitive in your area as to price
and number of cuts.

Most commercial mowers are good. As
for trimmers and stick edgers, buy the new
4-mix models. They're easy to start and last
longer with fewer repairs.

You should be very careful trying to set up something like this. Make sure to contact your insurance agent before you finalize any business plans. You may want to set up a company (LLC, Joint venture, etc) to act as the company rather than doing it yourself.

Honestly, if you have never worked in the lawn care business, you should take this very slowly. Start with just a few yards/small businesses. Track the amount of time it takes you to mow, travel to/from, set up and maintain your equipment. You will need to charge for all of that to make any money.
