Because the republicans always wave the flag and wrap themselves in the false sanctimony of a spurious variety of Chritianity and patriotism as a way to selling Bubba on their dirty business. The best way for republicans to enrich Haliburton every second of the day, while quality American jobs go away forever, is by telling the great unwashed that between the 2 parties, you own morality and love of country. It's a very old lie, really.

You do realize that outsourcing and union busting is a direct result our labor costs having been driven so high that we cannot compete on the Global stage don't you? Really, show me an American Corporation whose profits as a % of their revenue have increased much over time(and don't cite the oil companies because most are foreign and I will concede the others). Companies do not stick all this imagined money that they supposedly save into the pockets of e few fat cat insiders when they do things like fight for a lower pay raise or less of a contribution to the benefits package. 99 times out of 100 they are trying to maintain the same bottom line if not suffer a small hit on it.

Now Social Safety Net Cutters. You show me one year where the appropriations for any Social Program did not increase to at least the rate of inflation. Just one instance. The dirty little secret about Entitlement Programs is that spending on them never goes down. A cut is just a lower increase than expected. Its a political term.

Now minimum wage. Why should we have a minimum wage? Most minimum wage proponents also claim that illegal immigration is OK because no one wants to do the low wage jobs. So if we increase the minimum wage who does it benefit? The illegals who don't mind doing those low paying jobs? All compensation ought to be based on what the market will bear. If you have such a common ability then don't expect to get paid much. Believe it or not artificially inflated wages are part of the disease that causes outsourcing.

Tax breaks for the wealthy. Amazingly enough the Presidents tax cuts helped out most people. The only people that did not feel a benefit from that cut were people that pay little to no Federal Income tax in the first place. Why should their taxes be cut if they aren't paying any?

Working class isn't working at minimum wages when they do go up the first to be hurt are the ones just hired.

Union-busters- Well lets see what unions have done for workers lately. Demand unions to be brought into companies than the company shuts down.

Since the well to are the ones who created jobs to help the middle class.

So lets take a look at what liberals do to help with out sourcing.
Drives the cost up with regualtions so the companies cut cost and go overseas. So how did those great it is when that company leaves because of some feel good law.
Like Nike who runs sweat shops but since the big name in sports sponser them nothing is said.

Why do liberals think the money you earn is someone elses.
I earn it why should I have it taken away by the government.

Guess we are all getting richers our poor live far better than most in the world.

Consevatives give more of thier own money and time to help the poor than liberals.

Social safety net-cutters you mean like generations on social welfare. Groups like welfare rights.

If you don't work you don't eat. I like that we have more job programs than you can shake a stick at. When I first became a disable vet I was surpised how easy my college was payed for and all the programs out there.

Cuts there are no cuts in the federal government a slowing in growth.

DNC makes the attacks at our values. Where they want to teach our children Islam but don't dare mention Christianity.
Telling people they can't own guns at all even for protection.
PC rules where you have to accept all religions and races but you can make fun of white Christian males.

The GOP are not waging war on the middle class but they want to embold people don't depend on the government and make it on you own.

It's the same story every election, promise them anything, give them nothing or next to nothing. A couple of hundred dollar check six years ago, big deal. It never ceases to amaze me how they keep power so often, especially at the Presidential level. The first republican President I remember is Nixon, we need not discuss his antics. Then Ford who was a reasonable President until his pardon of Nixon. Let's not forget the halloween masacre, masterminded by Rumsfeld and Cheney which swept out the old in the Ford administration and put in the new, George Sr. as head of the FBI. Then saint Ronny, who was also a little spend crazy, he had the Iran Contra deal on his watch. Then George, read my lips, Bush was next. Then came our current President, his antics need not be discussed either.

I suppose if they came out and said what they really believe, they would not get far. By pretending to care about these people, they can use them in their quest for power and money, until the people get wise. Usually this recognition by the people who have been used results in a Democratic President being elected.

Because he and the republican base get paid big bucks by corporations to do their bidding.
They write the laws in their favor,, and Bush sees their dirty work is done.
Perfect example,,,After making millions of dollars in Iraq off of Bush's war policy,, Halliburton is moving their headquarters to Dubai.
Do the words tax free mean anything?

Because the GOP politicians are self centered, inconsiderate, greedy ice holes.

The Unions have just about completely destroyed the Automotive Industry.

Minimum wage is a farce of an issue that costs low income earners their jobs. I say minimum wage for everyone is $300/hr. Would that be acceptable to you?

The top 1% of wage earners pay more than 1/3 of the federal income taxes and the top 5% pay something like 50% of all the federal income taxes.

I don't want anyone to "care" for me. I believe in personal responsibility and that is why I am conservative.
