Hello,
Girl lifeguards are great, as are guys, if they do their job.
In my experience as a member of pool staff, I have seen some excellent young ladies serving as lifeguards. They do their job well, for the most part, with more seriousness and rigor than many of my male co-workers.
Girls, young ladies actually, can make great lifeguards.

I find that Girls/Women Lifeguards are more aware of their swimmers in the pool rather than guys. My G/F Lifeguards at the same pool as me, we do not usually work together, but on occasion we do.

guys think its an excuse to pretend to drown or splash water at you.... they really dotn take you seriously, i loved beign a lifeguard but it was hard to do my job when stupid guys would try to distract me.... and for any guys that read this... or girls... its against the law to pretend to drown!!!!! or to distract a lifeguard in any way

why would gender matter? One would be saving lives...yea..don't worry about what people think everyone has their own opinion,

Nothing beats them. They make me want to nearly drown so that they could come and rescue me. The only thing that would make them better is if they were forced to work nude.
