its easy, like on any p2p network all you havta do is know where your shared MP3's or the music you downloaded are,
go to itunes then file then import folder and find the folder that says "shared" Usually its here C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Shared and then boom you'll have all your bearshare songs

You'll need to download itunes since bearshare doesn't have this built in feature.
1. Go to www.itunes.com and click download
2. Add files to the library from the location of your music.
3. Then synchronize your music onto your ipod
PS. I don't own and ipod but my brother does so i don't know too much about itunes but a whole lot about bearshare.
