Still trying to figure that one out.
I'm from NY, I shamefully admit I voted for her her first run...BUT THAT'S IT!!! She hasn't done a thing for NY. What does she think she is going to do for an entire country.

Good question on politics the poor souls of New York doesn't require a person to be in their state long to file for a position. This is some of the deals she worked out in the white house before she left as first lady. It is like anything else that has happend to the clintons White water, no one is left they are all dead. They have some power plus Bill was big with the Chinese look at his campaign contributions. She won't win the presidency America isn't ready for her in that role. even though she ran the country on Bill's coat tails we cant have another clinton era. If she does make presidency what does it make Bill the First Man. Go figure

Bobby Kennedy also got elected to the Senate from NY (back in 1964), even though he had not previously been a resident there.
There's nothing wrong with the voters wanting for their members of Congress to have the utmost in stature and to prioritize that over a history of residence.

She spent eight years in Washington, previously in Arkansas and was originally from Indiana. But to be a senator you don't have to be a native of that state. Hence Arnold in California. The way she became senator of New York is because she speaks to them in a way they understand (ultra liberal). Her husband doesn't come across so ultra liberal as much so he was able to get elected in a relatively conservative area.

It was a shady deal called hurry up and move to
Chapaqua, New York as it looks like you could get the votes
needed for a Senator at the time. So, that's what she did.
Why can't people see these unethical deals that take place
and act against that person? The media doesn't make a
big deal of telling you things on Democrats. She's against
Bush's firing of 8 federal prosecutors, yet her husband
fired 92 of them when he took office. Hypocracy? you bet.
