Stereotyping. Some feel those are professions for women or gay men. Although I'm not sure why they would think that way with gourmet cooks. I see more men as chefs / gourmet cooks, then women. Just like they think most male hairstylist are gay. But then again most of the ones I've seen actually are.. so who knows.
