No, it should become a Disney theme park called "The United Magic Kingdom" (haha - just kidding!!).
In truth, historically the US has given statehood to territories it acquired through purchase or invasion/conquest - for example, Alaska was purchased and Hawaii was conquered. There is a handful of US territories in the Caribbean and Pacific which are "almost" states (they have electoral caucuses, etc) so if at all, the 51st State will be one of those.

That would be an amusing reversal. The US, a former British colony, would make Britain a part of the US a couple centuries later?
I don't think they would go for it. Britain's policies are way too socialist to be compatable with the U.S.

Um... it'd be nice, however first you would have to persuade the monarchy, parliament, and all other officials to give up their power. And persuade them to willingly become ownership of a country across the ocean that they technically made (the country i mean, not the ocean) So the US's view,, Why not,, Uk's :NO!

Great Britain considers the USA to be its ugly step child. It considers us to be apart of the British Commonwealth. It will never happen.

This would never work, countries are two different, and they are a European country based in working in that environment not the one we must do here in the Americas

No and they certainly wouldn't like all the social services that would be pulled out from under them. We 'mericans really hate taxes.
