Well, here are a few ideas:

A. Test to see which laundry detergent gets stains out the best.

B. Test to find out what brand of batteries lasts the longest.

C. Test which cleaner gets pennies the cleanest.

Now here's how you could do each one:

A. Take some old t-shirts, and stain them with various products (tomato sauce, oil, etc.). Then take each laundry detergent and wash a shirt labeled with that detergent in each (you might need to put in a sheet too). Once you have them all done, compare them by taking before and after photos. Repeat if you wish.

B. Take a few brands of batteries. Put them inside of flashlights (preferable the same kind), turn them on, and leave them. Check every so often to see if one goes out.
That's probably one of the easiest ones...

C. Take some relatively equally dirty old pennies, and place a few in each cleaner. Soak them for a few days, and see which group of pennies looks comparitively shiniest.

If it's not the experiment kind, you could also make a model of one of the human body systems or something like that...

Good luck!

I'm not sure if this is eighth grade material. Display a picture (or seveal pictures) of Digger the dermatophyte followed by pictures or displays of real dermatophytes (these can be found on the internet). Also, SEALED (petri dish or jar)examples of fungi can be displayed. Knowing the type of fungi and source helps.

it depends on what they're teaching in schools these days. I'd say a cool digestive tract powerpoint presentation. Or maybe how certain chemicles react with other chemicles. If you gave more info on what you're learning I could help more.
