What about graphics card? Depending on graphics card, whether you SLI it or not ( 1 or 2 graphics card ), the 450W power supply may not be enough. Remember power supply does not constantly run at that wattage. You have to consider the % range it would run in. I would recommend something like a 600W w/ 80% power rating as a minimum if you plan to get 2 decent quality graphics cards & SLI it or 1 BIG graphics card.

Lian Li makes some good cases, however, they get an "F-" in their instruction manuals for new builders.

DVD-RW drive you only listed a floppy drive?

It seems like you chose a floppy drive for your DVD-RW device. They should cost somewhere around $30-$50. Also, don't forget about a video card (you'll need PCI-E for that board) - try spending around $80-$120 for that.

Other than that, everything should be good. If your CPU doesn't come with a heatsink, be sure to get one also.

Also, don't forget about the operating system. If you really want Windows, be sure to purchase an OEM copy - it's lots cheaper that way. Otherwise, I recommend downloading Ubuntu Linux at http://www.ubuntu.com

Also do a dual boot with one of the free Linux operating systems. My favourite is UBUNTU (or XUBUNTU if the computer has less than 256MB of RAM).

It's a free, reliable and up to date operating system.

You can explore it from the "LIVE CD".

It's easy to install and use. You can dual boot it with other operating systems.

Once you have it installed, you gain access to thousands of free programs created by the open source community. There is excellent support - see the WIKI starter guide, and the Linux forums.

Always back up your data before making changes to your computer.
