i'm not joking and i don't need any bs from people whose lives are lacking drama and feel the need to thrive on other peoples pain. my mother was killed 7 years ago, and the investigation and "barney fife" crap that my sisters and i have endured has really taken its toll....... not looking for any quick assesments or judgements, or sympathy... just honest advice from someone who has been through something similar (if that is possible)...

you people who are living in "movie town",( where you know who did it, and you show up in the middle of the night and make them pay.... real life is not a movie or a video game... i only hope you never have to really experience it, so no more vigilante advice)

If you think you know who did it, administer some street justice.

I had a friend who was found dead under mysterious circumstances (it was ruled a suicide but he was the last guy in the world who would have jumped off a bridge). It was really, really hard on me. I can't imagine how much harder this must be for you.

I don't know if you ever get 'over' something like this. If you can let go of the anger (or get through the anger) things get better. Unfortunately I have no advice for speeding up this process. It just seems to take as long as it will.

If you're the church going type then I would encourage you to talk to your pastor or someone else who can help and comfort you.

I feel for you and I'll keep you in my thoughts. I wish I had some better advice for you.

my sister in law was stabbed 23 times outside the back of a restaurant as she was leaving. the man who stabbed her was her ex boyfriend of five years. she had finally broken free of him and his need to use her as a mule to transport coke. this was in 1989. he made parole in around ten years.

so that ba$ta^d is out walking around. don't stop doing what ever you can to get your mom vindicated. (i don't mean that you should do anything to anyone) pester them till you drop. let them know that you will not stop, it will be your life's work.
