Dont overpay for SP or Catchers, way too many sleepers at both position. Basically what im saying: Don't take Carpenter and don't take Mauer.
I would go in this order:
1. Albert Pujols
2. Jose Reyes
3. Carlos Beltran
4. Ryan Howard
5. Alex Rodriguez
6. Chase Utley
7. Alfonso Soriano <-- moving to OF in CHC of all places, his #'s will suffer.
8. David Ortiz
9. David Wright
10. Travis Hafner

The best player left - the important pick is not the first pick, everyone gets a good player in the first round, it's your second and third picks that make up the core of your team so you need to be prepared to fill as many stat categories as possible with your next two picks. A-Rod has slipped to 6th in several drafts and he is an excellent pick at that position. But the most obvious is Utley who is the top player at the weakest fantasy position and instantly puts you way ahead at one position.

a million. Pujols- each and every individual who has had him on their group in my league for the final 3 years has gained. won't have the ability to be twist of fate. 2. A-Rod- ought to be interchangeable with Pujols. 3. Vlad- desires to stay healthful. 4. Mark Texeira- guy has he been surprising 5. David Ortiz- A pull-hitting lefty in Fenway Park with the Pesky Pole below 3 hundred ft out? Too uncomplicated. 6. Manny Ramirez- Ortiz gets walked alot this twelve months placing the table for ManRam (if he would not get traded).

The best 1st baseman available. I just drafted and the 1st base position really just isn't that deep. I'd go with Howard if he is available and if not him than David Ortiz.

I like having a mixture of everything, power, speed, etc. so i took soriano with my 2 pick. i also really like jose reyes because of his potential and utley is a great all-around guy as well.
