Completely agree. We do not live in a direct democracy, thank God. We live in a republic featuring representative democracy. The people have a voice which they express at the ballot box. If they disagree with the leaders they have elected, they can ote them ot the next time around.

I prefer my leaders to actually LEAD, not make decisions of state by consulting the latest numbers to see if lesbian Hispanics between 25 and 31 concur.

Wouldn't popular make it right? If there is an overwhelming percentage of people who agree to one thing, or have a similar opinion, wouldn't it make it right in their mind? MP's are just people too. I think there should be more votes that will make decisions. Make the people happy. Try out something new. IF the new proposal dioesn't work out, it can then be changed. At least then voters feel like what they have to say matters.

In a sterile ecosystem with knowledgeable docs and keep on with-up care, the hazards are very small. - Do you think approximately contraceptives comparable to abortions? - No. it is not a count number of opinion or attention. birth control prevents being pregnant, it does no longer abort a being pregnant that has already implanted. The morning after tablet, as an occasion, isn't an abortive. If the being pregnant has already taken carry, it won't artwork. - in case you had an undesirable being pregnant, might you think approximately abortion? - i might evaluate it, and that i possibly might have the abortion - and my husband might help me one hundred% (he might insist on it). I actual have 2 babies already, and that i haven't any want for third. My well-being has taken a nasty turn in recent times, and that i only don't have the money or the capability to bypass by yet another being pregnant. in actuality, i became instructed some months in the past that obtaining pregnant lower back might make my difficulty worse, in all probability crippling, and function a stable probability of killing me. i do unlike those odds. I fee my existence and the lives of my babies extra effective than a being pregnant that would desire to smash all of it.

That's a good question. I think they are necessary because our elected officials have no other way to learn the public opinion on an issue. I guess I disagree. To agree with you I'd have to believe that what is popular is not information our politicians should have. They are elected to represent us, so they do need to know what we think on an issue. They are overused, I believe.
