to fine the missing equation, use the slope-intercept form y=mx+b and plug in the first coordinates and the slope for y=mx+b

So:

3 = (1.5)(1) + b

3 = 1.5 + b

1.5 = b

(so we now know the equation is y = 1.5x + 1.5)

Now to solve for y, plug in -3 for x so:

y = (1.5)(-3) + 1.5

y = -4.5 +1.5

y = -3*
