i/o magic combo drives?

i have a i/o magic daul format cd/dvd4 drive my drive has stop reconizing blank dvd disks it will recon.blank cds but it use to read dvd blanks i have made copies of dvds .............help

let me add more detail when i want to copy a dvd i put in a blank dvd to copy to the burner does not intialize error message says something is wrong the blank dvd media weather it is dvd+r,dvd-r or dvd-rw but i put a blank cd it reads it and copys cd no problem

Seems I read something about the drives needing a Firmware update when that happens.

Go to their website and check fr a Firmware pdate for your proticular model drive
