I don't have any regrets, but with the wonderful gift of 20/20 hindsight, I beleived my ex when she said she wsn't involving her lawyer and showed up in court with out one. She was true to her word, I only wish that the Judge had picked up on how much that was a diplay of mutual respect and trust and had told us to go away for six months and try to sort it out. It might not have changed anything, but at the time it was the only thing that might have saved the marriage, and my faith in the system.
