i need all the help i can get, cause i am doing this as a project for school.

a greater chance for failure is apparent in a one parent household. Two parents afford more guidance, and a watchful eye.

Well, things are much harder espically paying billls mortgage and things like that and its also hard finding time to spend with your parent because there always working so kids get into other things like drugs and alchol,but the smart ones do sports or join clubs at school.

Well, first of all I am the child of a single parent and I don't think it has been any worse than some people with both parents.
I tried to think of some points that would support the other opinion, but I think they are all bologne.

statisically, children do much better with both parents in the household.

humans are hard wired to need the dynamics of both a mother and a father. it's a yin and yang thing.

if you are a good mother or father I say its better because its a one to one thing, theres a lot about it on this site
