i recently went to the snow yesterday and was in it for about 3 hours or so to a point where my feet were completely numb. when i got back into the truck it took about 20 minutes to get feeling back and they seem to be fine, except for my heal. the bottom back part of my heal is still a little numb/tingly, and i dont notice any color change. its been about a day or so and i was wondering Why its still somewhat numb?!?!?!

If it was actual frostbite your heel would be turning color. Usually a deep purple shade or even black.

what was the temp? it has to be pretty cold to get frost bite and most always u have to have exposed skin on the snow. this just sounds like u may have damaged a few nerves on the surface of the skin. nothin major. frostbite is where the skin turns black and the entire area is nerurolistically dead. no cells are functioning.

I don't know why your heel is still numb, but if there is no discoloration, it's not frostbite.
