If you want to look like you have style and class, dont get the bags from chanel with the giant C's on it - first of all they are tacky and second of all they sell fakes all over the place that all these hoochies wear. Go to Dior, Gucci and Chanel and pick out the bags you like best, prada bags arent that cute so you should almost forget about it, they only have a few cute bags each season the rest is fugly. Dior can be tacky but they sometimes come out with cool looking pieces. Try fendi their bags are amazing. And gucci bags are teh cutest, you have to know how to pick them though, dont got for the bag infested with logos- get the bag that had just one logo on it, its much classier and the bag will last longer becuase it wont be some lame piece that everyone can copy. It all depends on your style, the more high fashion you are, the more discerning you will be when it comes time to picking the bag. If you live in ny, you should go for the high fashion look it will earn you a lot more respect.. dont be a hoochie!

Most expensive to least in general terms. Louis Vuitton, Prada, Chanel, Gucci, then Coach. As for Hermes and Balenciaga I think they would go some where in the middle, but I can't say for sure since I'm not really up-to-date with those brands. Personally, the best brand would really depend entirely on what you want. For more everyday bags Coach and Gucci have more. Even some Louis Vuitton can be for everyday use.

Well, it depends on what you want out of the bag.
Chanel = Classy and timeless, but cost a pretty penny if you want a real one; many people I know carry fakes (which are quite pathetic).
Prada = Fun and efficient, they come in a variety of textures, colors, sizes, and prices; I think that the runway ones are the best, though; but don't get a nylon one, they look cheap [to me].
Gucci = Simple with an edge, most bags are very simple, but they have an edginess, something just a little different; I personally don't like the logo ones, I'd go for a leather one.
Other great choices for purses are Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, Jimmy Choo, and Valentino.
My advice would be to pick a timeless one, that will go with many outifts and last a long time, through many seasons.

im 25 and im a new yorker... go for a Gucci. Those are gorgeous and shows more class than a chanel or Prada, which can be easily knocked off and found on Canal st.
but in my own opinion, i'd go for an LV.

I think Chanel is your best bet the purses are somewhat simple and go with almost anything. I just bought a Fendi and a coach bag so you might want to check those out, and LV ust came out with some new stuff. With me being from Cali and you being from NY it's hard to say what's in here and what's in there are probably way different

Personally I'd pick Christian Dior, but if I must pick one of the three you've mentioned, I'd go with Chanel...Gucci and Prada look a bit old lady-ish.

Im 18 so i understand you want to be stylish, im a fashion design major. But you shouldnt get a purse just because you want to be stlyish you should buy them because you love the designer. look at the bags online and see what styles you like. And i would pick the cheapest one but thats me becasue i have no money.

I have a chanel, a prada, and a coach and by far my coach is my favorite! But I also really like my chanel, but it is too big! I dont really like my prada one that much
